I'm sorry I sorta got distracted by life and sucked the 2nd half of 2008 at my New Year's resolution, which was to take, and post a picture every day. Life totally got in the way, namely, my job. So, here's the deal, Resolution. You and I will make up for being lazy and busy. (Resolution nods it's head). So, I say that we both agree to try to take a photo each day (but really, it's gotta be something worth writing about), and then post ONCE a week, several photos from that week. Deal? Deal. Good. I'm glad that's settled. Me too.
My blog and I just made up. YAY!
So, several photos posted once a week. That will still document fun times in New York or elsewhere, and that gives me a little bit more wiggle room and might motivate me more when I miss a few days in a row. It will also keep me taking pictures, which I often enjoy.
To start us off, here's what I got so far! (summing up Christmas and my time at home).
Jonathan is tuckered out by a long day of presents and family fun!
Post-Christmas sleep over at Nick's house. Emily and Nick perform tricks.
Happy New Year, just chillin' at my parents house with Ryan, Brad and Ari. Right where I wanna be!
Happy New Year!

I stepped in for 2
then Jim in 3rd
and Dan in last place with his iPhone on the couch watching the first season of How I Met Your Mother on DVD all day.
I have to admit, I'm sort of sad to say that I don't have any good horror stories of the first Thanksgiving without mommy or daddy. I didn't even have to CALL home for help! That's definitely a first!
I called home to figure out how to make gravy tonight for leftovers.
Then there was much eating, there was much
Of course, we had to
We did cartwheels to show how happy we were!
We started with lunch and sauntering around the Native American Museum
and then waiting in a long line to see fun things at the American History Museum.
THEN we walked all over the Mall seeing many monuments
and visiting my uncle Steve at the Vietnam Memorial.
There was much torturing of the others, but mostly Jim and I busting each others chops for the majority of the weekend. Good times! It ain't Jim and Jane time without some witty banter. :)
I was able to get some work done while sipping tea later in their dinning room, and then for dinner we made the trek down to the seaside to whack some crabs!

I couldn't have asked for a better back up plan for going home!! Didn't want to return to reality!

I could not
Top of the Empire State Building....see, all tourist, all the time!
