Heather and I decided to make the best of my day in Chicago by walking down to the beach and sunning ourselves for awhile (I got a little sunburned!).
I have to say that I LOVE Chicago. Love, love, love it. I can very clearly see myself moving there in the near future, within a few years at least. It's beautiful, it's like a mini-New York, it's based around a LAKE, it's got awesome architecture and history, it's close to my family, it'll have loads of ESL jobs (hopefully), and it feels so much more like home. I fit there. Not that I don't fit here, but it's not the perfect fit for extended time. I'm still not done with New York though. And I say that I have plans for Chicago, but in actuality, that could all change. My life is changeable, and I guess I have to embrace that part of who I am.

Anyway, beaching was fun and much needed. We grabbed a quick lunch, I packed up and spent the rest of the day flying through the sky to NYC. Home sweet home...for now.
