It was quite a mix of emotion today. I packed up my room in Harlem, which made me really sad. All those books. It's sort of uncertain where I'll be next year, but most likely I'll be working full time in the Bronx. So, goodbye Harlem children whom I've taught for two years.
But, HELLO summer! I was ecstatic to get out and have pizza with my co-workers. Then on to the bar! Kristin brought her puppy and he happily licked our beers as we celebrated freedom! I made it through my first year teaching!
