Party Day! at the Risdon-Smith household! Hooray! Even though I didn't get nearly all the stuff I wanted to get done today finished, I would still count the day as a success. I cleaned, I cooked, I made a 7 hour play list, I hosted a party, I looked at many-a-picture, I laughed with friends. A total payoff in my book.
I just have to mention how bonkers people get when they ingest the following food:
It's like a crazy person takes over their body. People lick the plate clean! They eat every last morsel on this platter- EVERY TIME I make it. It's insane, and I can't explain the phenomenon, other than the fact that I skipped dinner just so I could eat a lot of this 7 layer dip.
The party was a hit overall, commemorating our Brazil trip through photos. It was fun going through and sharing all those memories with a select few of the participants from my study abroad last summer. All the quality people came, so that's all that matters. Perhaps tomorrow I will blog about laundry, since I have SO much to do!!!
