Dreamin' in the city

Dan and I have had the COOLEST couchsurfers EVER today and yesterday! Two French guys, Xavier and Aurelian, SO incredibly awesome. Tonight after work we sat around and talked for a while, then decided to get dinner at one of my favorite places to eat at in Midtown-Rice. Such a great place!

They loved it, and Dan met up with us at the end, when we moved on over to the West side to go to a piano bar called Don't Tell Mama's. You might have read another post about this place, when my friend Nick was in town, and tonight was just as fun. It was their last night in New York City and we had such a good time singing along, having a few drinks, and just having a laugh. When we got there we were some of the only people in there, but it filled up pretty well by the time we left. Xavier was so cute, he was so sad to leave the city and kept talking about how it was a dream come true for him. I'm so glad that I could share that time with him. We talked about maybe trying to find some time for me to visit France in the summer. Hmmmmm...wheels are turning!
