So, tomorrow starts my summer learning institute at Columbia Teacher's College. I'm sort of eager to get back to the world of academia, and even more excited that it's about the Harlem Renaissance. And since I've become a history nerd since moving to New York, it seems only fitting that I'm super excited about this!
I've been reading this weekend, in order to be ready. They sent a few pre-reading materials, and this book was one of them. I love it! It's an excellent read, very fast, and a really quick and in depth look into life in Harlem during the 20s. It's Jane approved!
