Rest up

Heather departed early this morning. A day of rest was needed, and since I'm still reveling in the fact that I don't have to go to work (this is awesome!) I decided to get up early, but just spend time puttering around online for awhile. Here's a view from my room. Eventually I got up out of bed and went to work out for the first time in ...forever. That's bad, since I pay through the nose for it. It felt really good actually, and I intend to do it for the next few weeks before I go home.

Dan was still feeling a little slow from his sickness (might have been mono or strep...ew) and we saw and ad for WALL-E and we decided to look up times and go. We took a walk to the theater, got our tickets and even had time to stop at Best Buy to get some more Wii remotes (with a fun new little game that came with it). The movie was super cute, and I think the message about keeping the earth clean was great! Also great- popcorn. On top of that great- Dan acting like an goofy idiot in line making it ok to eat popcorn because "we are on super fun summer happiness day". To this, the lady with the child at the napkin stand cracked up.

We played some Wii when we got home, laid around like slobs and loved it, then watched our new addicting show- So You Think You Can Dance. This show is out of control. I love it. It fills the void that American Idol left. Yes. I'm a huge geek.
